The Bankside Journal 004.

This week has been a busy one at Bear HQ. It started with a major freak out when Storm Ciara rained on us so hard the walls started to leak. Not ideal. However a few towels seemed to do the job and the week went on an upward trend from there. We received our first restocking on Monday and shipped all our pre orders which was very exciting (thank you for waiting everyone). We have just received a restocking of all our Universal Packs from Amy too, so if you have been waiting now is the time to order.  We have also been painting nets, building rods, and designing new bags. So all in all a very good week.

Film.

"Toe to Toe" - Meet Marty Loudder

This is one of the most inspiring short films we have ever seen. Marty is truly an incredible lady.

Location.

54.082855, -2.023165

We found an amazing place this week. It's called Fort Gregory. It's just outside of Grassington and is a prehistoric settlement. Well worth a look if you are in the area. We also suggest a visit to The Hedgerow, its an amazing cafe which also sells plants! Find out more here.

Fishing.

River Aire

Storm Ciara has out a bit of a hold on fishing plans this past week and Storm Dennis has slightly spoilt our weekend. So we have been planning our first free Bear event of the year. We will be running a ladies day with Bradford City Angling Association. Keep an eye out on the events page of our site for more details over the coming weeks.

Coffee

Atkinsons -Stereotype

We are thoroughly enjoying this blend from Atkinsons this week.

You can get it here.
