We offer free standard shipping & returns on all orders over £100.
For orders under £100 the cost is calculated at checkout. We will always use the most reliable and affordable service we can.
All our packaging is reusable, recycled and/or biodegradable.

Why are you called BearMade?
We wish we could tell you a great story about an encounter with a Bear, but the animal has nothing to do with our name. It makes for a pretty cool logo though.
We started out wanting to make bags that just took the bare essentials. We threw around a few name ideas, mostly really bad ones like Simplifly (so glad we didn’t opt for that one). Eventually, we settled for Bear Minimal as it was like “bare essentials” but simpler. We then changed the word bare to Bear because Bears are awesome. That then eventually got shortened to Bear (Bear Minimal was a bit of a mouthful), and then finally we became BearMade!
Where are you based?
We are nestled in Upper Nidderdale In the wonderful Yorkshire Dales. Surrounded by hills, moors, lakes, rivers and forests. We are very lucky.
Where are your bags made?
All our bags and our primary fabrics are made in the UK. However, not all of the materials we use come from the UK. The majority of our materials come from the UK and Europe, with some small parts sourced from China. We are hoping to source all parts for our bags from within the UK and Europe soon.
Why do you have transparent pricing?
Because we like to be open and honest with our community.
Are your bags waterproof?
Our bags are not totally waterproof, very few are. But they are pretty damn close. We spent an hour throwing them around in a waterfall and water only got in when we forgot to roll the top down....
What's your returns process?
If for some reason you need to return an order, we’re happy to help. As long as the bag comes back in its original condition within 30 days of purchase we will give you a full refund. Just email us and we’ll take you through the process.
Can I get my product personalised?
Sometimes we can, sometimes we cant. It depends on the product. If you want to know more, send us an email and let us know what product you would like to personalise, along with what sort of personalisation you would like.
Can I get my bag repaired?
If your bag needs to be fixed just get in touch with us and we will walk you through the process of returning the bag to us for repair.
Do you ship overseas?
Unfortunately not, we only sell our bags in the places they are made. We are working on expanding our network of makers but for the time being only make and sell in the UK.
How long will it take to get my order?
Standard shipping should be with you in 1-3 working days, if you get your order in before 3pm and select next day delivery then your bag should be with you the next working day.
