Otherwise known as a washbag, this Dopp Kit has been travelling around with us for the past 2 years. We've tested it, we've tweaked it, we love it.

Using our organic dry-waxed canvas outer and a wipe-down bright orange interior this bag has plenty of internal organisation to keep your bits and bobs sorted.

→ Dry-waxed organic cotton canvas outer from British Millerain
→ Hi-vis orange water-resistant polyester lining. We are using this up as we had it left over from when we first started making bags, it's a great fabric, but it's just not the most sustainable we could use. Once we've used it up we will switch to a more environmentally friendly alternative
→ Two internal organisation slip pouches and one long internal pouch for a toothbrush
→ Riri AQUAzip®, made in Switzerland. Water-resistant and very durable
→ Embroidered logo
→ Heavy-duty cotton grab handle

Limited production

We feel responsible for everything we put out into the world. To make sure we keep our impact as low as possible we only make 25 bags a week.

Materials

Our hardwearing, weatherproof, GOTS certified organic dry-waxed cotton uses 88% less water and 62% less energy than conventional cotton. It also uses zero toxic chemicals in its production.

This bag is almost plastic-free (we use a recycled polyester thread)

BearReMade

Our bags are made to last a lifetime, but we get that not everyone wants to keep something that long.

To avoid your bag ending up in the back of the closet, or worse, the bin, we will take your bag back in exchange for BearMade credit (10% of the bags original value).

We will then recycle the parts from that bag and make it into something new.

material highlights

Our bags are made from GOTS certified organic dry-waxed cotton canvas from British Millerain in Lancashire. They have been dyeing and proofing cotton for over 100 years and this material is one of their latest creations. It has a totally dry finish (dry-waxed doesn't always mean totally), is waterproof, PFC free, and is machine washable! However, we don't recommend you wash it often.

Another Great bag.

I usually use a stuff sac for my toiletries but seeing the Lodge Dopp Kit on the website i could'nt resist, it has seperate compartments for your stuff and even though it is going to be changed i really like the Bright Orange nylon lining. Like everything else i have had from Bearmade it is superbly made and will give me years of use, and i'm sure you could use it for other things as well.

The Perfect Washbag

After buying the Gouthwaite 18-23l backpack at the store in Pateley, I was browsing the website and came across this washbag and it really is the perfect size/materials for everything I need. Over the last few years, I've typically used either a Sainsbury's bag or smaller carrier bag for toiletries when travelling as I've never seen anything made sustainably while also hitting the market from a size/features perspective.

Absolutely love it, the small toothbrush pocket is perfect and it's generally big enough to fit all the bits and bobs I need in there. Would recommend highly to anyone looking for something sustainable, rugged and long-lasting!
